Knee pain

Knee pain is a common complaint for many people. There are several factors that can cause knee pain, including sprains of the tendons/ligaments surrounding the joint, inflammation, diseases such as Osgood-Schlatters, Reiter's syndrome and arthritis to name but a few. It can also be caused by biomechanical problems originating elsewhere.

Awareness and knowledge of knee pain causes lead to faster diagnosis and treatment. Knee pain can be related to knee joint or any of the structures around the knee.

Groin pain, as with knee pain, may result from a wide variety of causes, but may be linked to other lower limb pain.
